Dewflower entered the medicine cat's den. Her apprentice, Calicopaw, needed a medicine cat's help. "Spottedheart? You in here?" Dewflower meowed while sitting down, curling her tail around her paws. She just loved the scents of a med cat den.

Calicopaw padded slowly closer she was very cold at the moment with the wind blowing at her and falling in the stream earlier.

Dewflower wrapped her tail around her appentice, trying her best to comfort her. "Once we're done here, I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun! If you're adventureous enough, we can go inside an abanndeoned twoleg nest! It's so fun to scare away all the pigeons! Maybe I can even teach you how to catch one.." The she-cat stopped meowing as she heard pawsteps behind her.
Spottedheart padded into her den, freshkill in her jaws, with her apprentice following close behind. "Hello Dewflower, Calicopaw! Can we help you with something?" She put the mouse down at their feet and meowed, "We have this spare mouse if you're... Calicopaw?" The she-cat turned to face Dewflower and meowed, "I'm guessing you fell in the river..."

Brightpaw helped Calicopaw into a nest to get warmed up. "why are you so wet? I'm guessing that we check for a fever right Spottedheart?" Brightpaw asked her mentor as she saw her talking with Dewflower.

Dewflower looked at the Medicine cat apprentice and growled, "She fell in the river, what do you think moss-head?" She got to her paws and padded by Spottedheart, getting ready to ask her something, but the medicine cat started meowing something.
"Please don't mind her, Brightpaw. Dewflower talks like that to everyone." She turned her head and smiled at the she-cat behind her, then her attention went to her apprentice. "Well, you're close to correct Brightpaw, but first we need to examine her, just incase there are any scratches." She spotted a scratch on Calicopaw's side, and her eyes wideend. "Well I'll be a walking fish! I guess a rock must have scratched you in the water... But it's not bad. What herb do we need for scratches, Brightpaw?"

Spottedheart padded towrds the herb stock in the back of her den. "Well... We's use marigold for wounds, but you were close. We'd use dock in this case, because it soothes scratches. Yarrow can also help scratches, but that's only if the scratch contains poison." Spottedheart picked up a leaf that looked kind of like sorrel, and meowed around the plant, "This is dock, I'm sure you remember that though. Here, I'll show you how to apply it." The she-cat padded back over to Calicopaw, waiting for her apprentice.

Spottedheart chewed up the dock leaf, then spit the juices onto Calicopaws leg. "So once it's well-chewed up, you want to spit as much dock juice as you can onto the scratch. Then spit the remains of the leaf on the floor, I'll clean it up later..." She paused to inspect the scratch. "Now it may sting Calicopaw, just don't lick it. you can lick it once the sting is completely gone..."

Calicopaw wished so badly to lick it but she knew not to, her teeth were closed tight together so her didn't yowl.
