Brightpaw races her mentor to the sound, stopng fast. "I beat you mom!"

Spottedheart tilted her head 'Mom?' She repeated. But Medicine cats aren't aloud to be queens. She sighed again. "I guess you're right!" She meowed. "Now let's pick these berries, remember the way I showed you?" She asked. "What's jupinier used for?"

Brightpaw gathers the berries correctly, "They are used for bellyaches and when cats are having trouble breathing."

"You're right Brightpaw!" Spottedheart praised her apprentice, still thinking about the she-cat in the sky. 'Does that mean she joined StarClan, did she belong to a Clan at a time?' She asked herself. Spottedheart tillted her head unevenly towrds her apprentice.

Brightpaw reaches down and bits of some stems to carry the juniper berries back. "now what?"

Spottedheart shifted the stems around in her mouth so that her apprentice could hear her when she meowed, "Well, I know one of our elders have a cough! Do you remember which herb we need to used for that?"

Spottedheart lifted her muzzle into the air, and sniffed. "You're right Brightpaw!" She praised her apprentice. "Let's take these back to camp then, because I don't really think we need anymore herbs right now. And I want to teach you how to mix certain herbs!" She signaled Brightpaw to follow her with a flick of her tail, and she bagan padding.

Brightpaw follows but as she walks, she spots the she-cat again and wonders if she wants to talk now.
