The ferns russled. Blackpool padded calmly by the Moonpool, ready to meet the new Medicine cat apprentice of ThunderClan. He got into a run and swiftly ran to the back of the bubbling waterfall as if he were flying, leaving a trail of starlight behind him. He heard a delicate lick on the surface of the water, then he fadded away. He reappeared in silverpet, his other anesestors all around him. "It is time!" He yowled, jumping back down to the forest. The wind pushed his furr up, making him look like a stooting star. He landed like a feather in a bush, then shook his fur. Looking behind him, he saw the rest of StarClan behind him. "We are ready." Meowed a golden tabby she-cat behind him. He padded down the slope of jagged rocks, landing like air on the earth. Each step he took left behind a starry pawpritnt, and he saw the apprentice waiting for him. "Welcome, Brightpaw."

Brightpaw nodded her greeting, "Starclan this is my choice, please tell me have I made the right one?"

"Yes you have!" Blackpool purred. "Now StarClan can be difficult with you sometimes. In order for you to interpert signs and understand, you'll need to sleep more often so we can visit your dreams!" The tom joked.

Blackpool staired at the young apprentice in front of him. "Well StarClan speak as if there is a puzzle to solve. We speak so that you can't fully understand. What has Spottedheart taught you so far?"

"many things, but it feels that i was destined for this because I kept seeing Spottedleaf inmy dreams, she started to help me as a kit. Plus I am not clanborn, I think someone found me and brought me to Thunderclan."

"Well you are correct young one. That's why ThunderClan brought you in. You were supposed to be a med cat. We see it in your heart and future." Blackpool put his tail in his mouth. He wasn't suposed to tell StarClan's secrets.

Brightpaw giggled then fixed her teal blue eyes back onto Blackpool, waiting for his next words.

Blackpool purred in the bak of his throat. Then he sat down, curling his tail around his paws. "What is your favorite part of being a medicine cat apprentice?"
