Spottedheart purred, and rubbed her head against Brightpaw's. She tried to hold back her laugh at her apprentices term, 'aunty'. "Well this really explains a LOT!" Spottedheart looked in her apprentices, I mean, NIECE'S, eyes.

"Dewflower?" Spottedheart repeated. "Well, I'm not too sure. Maybe because she just wanted to have an apprentice." She got to her paws, and set her nose on Brightpaw's head. "Brightpaw, do you think... do you think you know everything there is to being a medicine cat." She asked, tring to think if there was something she had not shown her apprentice.

"NO!" Spottedheart hissed. "I wanted to train you everything you needed to know! You've been my apprentice for moons now... I just think that... You may be ready." She sighed. Spottedheart didn't want to get rid of her appentice! She also didn't want her apprentice to think that.
